Synergy Blue’s latest research shows that young gamblers are the most confident of returning to casinos once they reopen. However, the casino industry after the crisis is not going to be the same at first. The Nevada Gambling Commission has already started to discuss the circumstances of reopening.

While online casinos have experienced growth in their revenues, 62% of people aged 29 or under are confident to go back to land-based casinos once they are open. This number is only 40% to people who are at the age of 60 or above.

51 percent who took the survey would returning to casinos

The aim of the survey was to gain a better understanding of what gamblers are expecting from operators once they reopen casinos. The survey was conducted amongst 1000 gamblers and shows that 51 percent would return. The report also tries to map the influence of factors like online gambling, social distancing, and safety concerns.

35 percent of the gamblers taking the survey would go back to their regular casino. However, 29 percent would decide based on discounts rewards or bonuses. 25 percent was saying that their main criteria are improved health measures and safety standards.

People are more concerned about the economical situation when it comes to returning to casinos

Most of the people, 58 percent, who are not certain about returning to land-based casinos are concerned about the economical situation after the crisis. However, 47 percent have concerns about the sanitary level of casinos once they reopen. 41 percent of the people, on the other hand, would not be comfortable being around people again.

The boost in online gambling

After the lockdown, many were deciding to take on online gambling. Online casinos are offering excitement from your home.
