US casinos to open in 2021
Land-based casinos to open in 2021 – sounds quite realistic for the US residents! At least, several states of the country intend to reopen their venues this winter. Where will gamblers be able to play games with real dealers and opponents?
- Pennsylvania. Gambling venues in the state of Pennsylvania reopened their doors on January 4. Having followed a mandatory three-week suspension, casinos like Harrah’s Philadelphia, Hollywood Casino, Rivers Casino Pittsburgh, and Valley Forge Casino Resort welcome their guests again;
- Michigan. The health department of the state allowed the reopening of several non-essential establishments including casinos after holidays. At the same time, restaurants, bars, and nightclubs will not work until January 15;
- Nevada. Although most Vegas casinos remain closed, some places have opened their doors to visitors. In particular, Downtown Las Vegas’ Plaza has reopened a huge slot space with Wheel Of Fortune-themed machines this month. Also, Planet Hollywood, Park MGM, Rio All-Suite, and LINQ offer gambling services but keep hotel rooms closed.
Land-based casinos in other countries
While US casinos seem to reopen in January, Europeans have to wait until spring to be able to gamble offline.
After the reopening of betting stores, the UK decided to shut down all non-essential businesses including casinos and sportsbooks again. Such a decision was a result of tightening restrictions across the country.
